First cruises from December 2026
The Na Hiro e Pae is the new mixed cargo ship of the Société de Navigation des Australes. It succeeds the Tuhaa Pae IV and takes you from Tahiti to the Austral Islands, one of the most unspoilt archipelagos in Polynesia. More than a crossing, it is an authentic cruise, at the pace of the ports of call, the crew and the islanders.

With the Na Hiro e Pae, a fresh wind blows through the journey to the Austral Islands.
Its electric propulsion favours a smooth, comfortable ride on board, while its eSAIL® turns the power of the wind into fuel savings and lower CO2 emissions. A world first for a multipurpose vessel.
You travel aboard the ship that carries the freight the islands depend on: a single crossing, with a carbon footprint we are committed to reducing.
This commitment continues on board: engines able to run on biofuel as soon as it becomes available in Polynesia, optimised waste management, fresh water self-sufficiency.
Connecting our islands, caring for our customers, our goods and our ocean.
